Statement from the Trustees
The Board of Trustees has made the very difficult decision to close the mosque and community centre from 18th March.
The last congregational prayers to take place before the closure will be Isha prayers today (17th March).
All congregational prayers including Jummah prayers will now stop until further notice.
This decision was made based on Islamic, governmental, and medical guidance to protect the community.
We are monitoring the situation on a daily basis and we aim to re-open the centre as soon as it is safe to do so.
We have a duty of care to our mussallees, our volunteers, our families and our community. We ask for everyone’s support and duas following the difficult and unprecedented decision we have been obliged to take.
Please keep up to date by visiting our website and on our social media channels:
May Allah protect our community, the weak and elderly, and guide the Ummah through these difficult times. Ameen
